Motivation Mantra #01

In 2020, I will share one story or a quote every week that has had a great positive impact on me and I start this series with a famous quote that I used to write on the first page of my every notebook for about over a decade 1995 and 2008. “Success is not an event but a continuous realization of worthy things.” I can't recall where I heard or read this first time but this is the mantra which is imprinted deep inside my belief that success is not a onetime thing, it is not one milestone or a single achievement. It is also not about just any achievement but something that is worthy of achieving. This is the mantra which keeps me going in tougher times and keeps in check during hay days. When I look-up in the internet, the nearest quote I could find is by Earl Nightingale which says – “Success is really nothing more than the progressive realization of a worthy ideal...” Another important thing that I have learned over the period of time is that Success is personal by the virtue of defining something worthy for each one of us is very very personal. So be original, do not try to imitate or copy someone else’s success. Define your very own success and make your life a story that you would love to read and tell. Wish you a very successful 2020!!
