“Thought without action is abortion. Action without thought is folly.” -- Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, India’s 1st Prime Minister
One of our teachers in higher secondary told the first part of this to warn us against the danger of procrastination. It relates to one of the classic tales in the Indian subcontinent about a character named “Shekh Chilli”. Shekh Chilli used to be a very lazy person who dwells his entire time merely daydreaming everything he would accomplish in his life without actually doing anything to accomplish any of it. This could be the single most blocker in our lives from attaining our full potential. We need to be wary about being Sheikh Chilli. What are your thoughts that still need action?? Revisit the list of your to-do list and pick one of them which you think has the largest impact and start working on it. Just start with small steps and you would be amazed at the results. Just do it!!
